Angie Richard

I am a documentary filmmaker, researcher, and founder working at the intersection of ocean, lived experience, and regenerative creative practice.

For over two decades, I have examined how story functions as custodianship — and how immersive, place-based environments shape the narratives we carry forward. My work now spans award-winning documentary, practitioner-led research, and intimate ocean-centred retreats where creative inquiry becomes lived experience.

What I Offer

My work unfolds across three interrelated domains:

Award-winning films exploring human resilience, ecological change, and cultural transformation.

Documentary & Media

A developing body of practitioner-led research exploring regenerative creative practice, citizen science, and how embodied, place-based inquiry contributes to knowledge-making.

Research & Creative Practice

Intimate, ocean-centred retreats for those longing for time to think, make, and reconnect with the sea.

A guided space to explore a creative idea — whether you are an artist, an entrepreneur, or simply someone sensing a story waiting to take shape.
